Trained under the hugely famous Mexican painter Diego Rivera who was a social realist and muralist and considered the greatest Mexican painter of the twentieth century. Cereceda exhibited all over the world, from Brazil to New York, Spain, Italy, the USSR, China & Canada and is still working painting murals and frescos in South America.
