Description
DIRECT PURCHASE FROM THE ARTIST, RANDALL PETERSON Original Artwork from the Collection of Randall J. PetersonThis original, the Key West Lighthouse is a pen and ink drawing created in the style of pointillism and took 35 hours to complete. I've been creating artwork in the style of pointillism since 1989 and have created over 140 originals of which includes many commissioned projects. This original artwork of the Key West Lighthouse was completed in July of 2007 and is signed by the artist. The mat opening is approximately 7 1/2” x 9 1/2” and the frame size is 16” x 18”. The price includes framing - a black ornate wood gallery frame, a gray double mat with a v-groove and the pen that created this original artwork. This purchase is directly from me, the artist. Any questions, don’t hesitate to e-mail me. The Key West Lighthouse is located in the lower keys in Key West Florida. This lighthouse was constructed in 1847, replacing the original lighthouse that was destroyed by a hurricane in 1846. The lighthouse stands 86 feet tall and used to help ships navigate around dangerous reefs. GREAT PRICE!A signed copy of my book “Adventures & Reflections of an Artist” and 2 limited edition prints of this original will be included with your purchase. I’ve always been fascinated with lighthouses, bridges, historic structures and the stories that surround them – tales of shipwrecks, rescues, romance and hauntings. Architecturally, I’ve found that these structures are amazingly diverse, each with its own unique design and setting. Lighthouses, bridges, historic structures convey a powerful sense of place – some located in stunningly beautiful remote areas and others anchored securely in the hearts of the communities they serve.
