It is machine made and extensively machine quilted, and includes a sleeve on the back for hanging. It is signed and dated by me.     This quilt is one of the lovely cover quilts from my Shadow Boxes Pattern   Also see the beautiful companion quilt, "White Willow"   Another example of a simple quilt made beautiful by gorgeous fabric, all fabric by Lakehouse Dry Goods fabric company, and the extensive quilting.  The fabric is a representation of the classic Blue Willow china pattern.  The pictures speak for themselves.  Of course all monitors can show colors differently, and not all the pictures above are perfect representations of the color, but the blue is a light navy blue, just like it would appear on the china, with touches of blue gingham and dark royal blue (almost navy), and the yellow is like bright butter. The quilting, all done free-motion, with no patterns or markings, consists of overall background meandering.    The backing fabrics are another yellow blue willow pattern and a green dot, all also from Lakehouse.   The materials, time and workmanship in this quilt would place it's value in the $600-$700 range. When I machine quilt a quilt of this size for a customer, with this level of detailed quilting, the cost of the quilting alone would be over $200.    This quilt would look awesome as the focal point in a traditional or shabby chic garden room with lots of white wicker furniture (sorry the Artist Showcase program I use doesn't have this kind of furniture, but hopefully you get the idea.)  Of course, it doesn't have to hang.  It would be beautiful over a railing, on a quilt rack, or on the back of a chair or couch.  It could even top a day bed or twin bed in a garden-like guest room!     Free shipping to US destinations at Buy It Now price.   All quilts are from a smoke-free and pet-free home.
