Kevolic' Description  "Venus Comb" is an original signed silverpoint drawing by Norine Kevolic.  The drawing is 5" x 7" on high-quality paper that I prepared with a gray-blue tone heightened with white charcoal.  Silverpoint is a drawing medium that pre-dates the pencil. It was used extensively during the Renaissance era, though some of the earliest drawings date to the 12th century. The artist draws with a silver stylus on a coated surface; the lines deposited are actually silver and will tarnish over time to a sepia tone, still retaining their metallic luster.
