Painting number e322 to be included in forthcoming Catalogue Raisonné of the works of DAVID PADW0RNY.   Medium and Dimensions Oil Paint on canvas of 48 x 60 x 1.5 in., including hanging clip. This painting is pre-stretched and sides of the canvas are painted (see images below).  The staples holding the canvas to the stretcher bars are on the back so the painting is ready for immediate display.  Shipping notes: Normal 0 false false false This piece is painted on a heavy canvas that is gallery wrapped around 1.5-inch heavy duty stretcher bars.  These are the same stretcher bars I am currently using for paintings as large as 96 x 72 inches—they are very substantial.  Because of the large format of the painting, I created it with shipping in mind.  Its design allows it to be rolled for shipping and easily re-stretched upon receipt.  I estimate that two people working together can complete the job in under an hour, although it is also possible for one person to do it.  I will provide a video demonstrating exactly how to do it and (for US residents) include a pair of canvas pliers.  Aside from that, you will only need a hammer, Phillips screwdriver, and standard staple gun.  I have a proprietary way of marking the bars and the canvas for proper realignment.  By following the marked guide lines, you will be able to square the stretcher bars without difficulty and line up the canvas exactly as it was when I painted it. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.  You are also welcome to pick up the stretched canvas, if you are able.  And if you prefer to have it shipped stretched, I will get freight bids, and we can discuss those details based on your location.  Please allow 5 business days from sale for shipping.
